FAQ
Plain English.
Honest answers.
Lesson scheduling isn't haircut scheduling. A slot is only really available when a compatible horse is free and that horse isn't over-rotated. Letting customers self-book on a generic calendar puts the wrong rider on the wrong horse, and you spend the morning untangling it. WranglerDesk runs the match for you, surfaces ranked candidates, and lets you approve in one click. Self-service for trusted active customers is a Phase 2 feature once we've proven the trust model with you.
Less than you'd expect. Customers care about getting a lesson scheduled, not seeing a calendar. The inquiry form takes 60 seconds, most trainers turn it around the same day, and the customer gets a faster, more reliable answer than a self-serve calendar would have given them.
You define the rider profiles your ranch uses (e.g. 'Beginner Kid Western', 'Intermediate Adult English') with quantifiable ranges — age, weight, height, prior riding hours. You tag each horse with which profiles it accepts (Ideal / Acceptable / Backup-Only) and set its hard safety limits. When an inquiry comes in, the engine drops horses whose safety limits the rider violates, then ranks the rest by fit. You see the ranked list with rotation warnings and click 'Offer this one.'
The MVP is feature-complete: scheduling, contracts, monthly billing reports. Beta means we're working with the first 25 ranches to harden the rough edges in the wild, and we're not yet running the broader marketing playbook. Founding Ranches get direct founder support and shape the roadmap; in return, the introductory price is locked in for life.
Month-to-month. Cancel anytime. We export your data on the way out — CSV of every entity, PDF archive of signed contracts. Nothing is held hostage.
Yes. We'll do a 30-minute onboarding call with every Founding Ranch and walk you through setup live. Post-Phase-3, our Done-For-You option includes on-site setup of iPads, dashboard TV, and barn wifi.
The contract editor takes Markdown with a custom `{{initial:key:label}}` token syntax that becomes inline initial fields in the signing wizard. You can have multiple required initials per contract, an unlimited-length body, and we freeze the exact markdown the customer signed for the legal record. If you need help porting your existing contract, send it during onboarding and we'll convert it.
Azure SQL in the United States (US-East), with daily backups. Each tenant has logical isolation enforced at the application layer; a future enterprise tier (Trail Boss) offers dedicated infrastructure for ranches that need it.
MVP simplicity. Custom domains are a Foreman-tier feature in Phase 4. You can 301 your own domain to your subdomain in the meantime for free.
Not yet. On the roadmap for Foreman tier (Phase 4). The monthly report exports to CSV and PDF — most ranches paste those into their accountant's workflow today.
